To support key functions of Latin America by providing functional
training and development solutions that improve individual and
organizational performance. This position will identify function
specific (e.g. operations, sales) skills and knowledge needed by
employees to perform their jobs and assure that relevant training is
available and delivered. The position reports to the Americas Human
Resources Development Director, but receives direction from Latin
America HR Director. Essential Functions:
- Conduct needs analysis and consultation to the functional
organization on how to address the needs. Contact other groups if
training does not appear to be the solution.
- Identify learning and development solution best suited based on
objectives to be achieved. (This to be done in conjunction with the
design specialists)
- Contract with developers/designers for program development.
- Serve as design team member representing the needs of the client.
Secure other subject matter experts (SME) as needed. Track/follow up on
commitments from SME's.
- Research and select vendors in coordination with Regional office;
finding vendors that can used in multiple countries.
- Facilitate or participate in train the trainer sessions.
- Select and manage the need for certified trainers.
- Manage the implementation and logistics of program delivery
- Monitor progress and quality of delivery.
- Manage training administration and record keeping.
- Develop mechanisms to reinforce and support the learning process.
- Coordinate the acquisition and delivery of training in a manner that
meets country needs and leverages Regional and Global resources
- Consult throughout the Region on effective ways to enhance
performance through people development and training.

Requirements: |
| |
- Bachelor's degree in business, management or related field.
Functional field experience at the management level may be substituted
for the education requirement.
- Four years experience in a training position that involved training
development and delivery, with one to two years in a management role.
- Knowledge of industry products/services and work methods preferred.
- Strong consulting and influencing skills; ability to work in a
matrix structure
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. This
includes facilitation and presentation.
- Ability to both think strategically and to execute solutions in a
timely manner.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese a plus.
- Working knowledge of standard word-processing, Excel, and
presentation graphics applications.
