- Financial Support of Vice President of Latin America Sales and
Marketing. Assist in setting financial objectives and action plans for
the Latin America Sales and Marketing region. Develop new and enhance
current reporting tools to accurately report on product development
progress, status of worldwide commercialization, and financial
performance. Regularly notify management, finance reports, and senior
staff as appropriate on actual results and issues when business goals
are in jeopardy. Work closely with the VPs on the financial aspects of
the AOP, strategic plan, forecasts, and monthly results review.
Integrate the finance function with business activities by actively
participating in cross-functional teams, staff meetings, and special
projects. Educate employees on the use of financial tools to enhance
productivity. Ensure finance and business conduct practices are
consistent with company policy.
- Staff Management. Effectively manage a staff currently
consisting of a single financial analyst. Create challenging roles to
fulfill the duties of Latin America support that provide for sufficient
learning and growth. Regularly conduct performance reviews, provide
development opportunities and individual career objectives, and
maintain
positive motivation and recognition of staff.
- Work with distributors in an operational role. Provide
assistance to Business Directors in effectively supporting the Latin
America management team. As directed, participate in activities that
ensure financial business decisions are in alignment with the strategic
objectives of the Latin America Division. Search for potential areas of
exposure and recommend ways to mitigate the risk. Projects may include
preparation of financial presentations, analysis of financial
performance, support of Business Development and/or Legal functions,
and
participation in the AOP and long-range strategic planning processes.

Requirements: |

- Finance and Accounting Knowledge - Demonstrate a broad and in-depth
understanding of GAAP, Knowledge of Business Partnering, Financial
Analysis, Planning and Reporting, Technology and Professional
Leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree - Accounting/Finance or related.
- MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum five to ten years of finance experience.
- Minimum of three to seven years managing/supervising professional
staff.
- Exposure to and working knowledge of financial systems.
- MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish required. Portuguese preferred.
