Work with finance and administrative personnel in the
operating companies and the world headquarters in Miami.
The company has offices in:
Argentina, Brazil, Congo (Africa), El Salvador,
Guatemala, Honduras and Paraguay.
Main
focus is on monthly financial accounting and management
reporting, with significant emphasis on internal controls and
treasury activities. Job Tasks:
Monthly accounting:
- Assist in review and analysis of operating
companies financial accounting, both in local GAAP
and under IAS.
- Assist in review and analysis of operating
companies management reporting.
- Perform Miami office financial accounting and assist with
management reports.
- Assist in preparation of consolidated PEI financial and
management reports
- Assist in IAS training for operating company personnel
and act as resource for compliance with standards, esp.
newly issued standards.
Period Reporting:
Provide tracking and review of operating companies
period reporting, e.g.
Daily Sales report
Daily Inventory report
Weekly Cash Flow report
Weekly Receivables report
Monthly Cash Flow and Receivables report
Highlight issues derived from such reporting and develop
solutions or corrections.
Audit & Process Review:
- Both assist and drive internal and external audits of
operating company financial accounting and internal
controls, focusing heavily on cash and inventory
procedures.
- Help develop policies and procedures as required to
ensure adequate internal controls are in place both
in-country and in Miami.
- Assist in any due diligence work needed on an ad hoc
basis.
Inter/Intra-company accounting and reporting:
- Prepare any inter- and/or intra-company accounting
entries needed at the group level, as well as prepare
rollup reports of the entire group inter-company
situation with parent and affiliate entities.
- Help review and analyze operating companies inter-
and intra-company reporting, ensuring any out-of-balance
items are corrected immediately.
Budgets & Forecasts:
- Assist in the development and review of annual operating
and financial budgets, as well as any interim forecasts
required. Focus on cash and inventory forecasting.

Requirements: |
| |
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication
skills, and project management experience.
- Solid knowledge of US and international accounting
standards
- Sound understanding of accounting systems as user
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft, Windows, Excel, Word &
PowerPoint.
- Very strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Bilingual English, Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
- The ability to work in a fast paced growth environment.
- 3-5 years experience in decision making and general role
as accountant
