| SUMMARY Manage category data analysis. Assist in implementation of category management best practices, lead promotional analysis efforts, implement sku rationalization and optimization plan, develop plan-o-gram and merchandising recommendations, and assist in division level vendor managed inventory projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : · Analyze and interpret data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for new business opportunities · Analyze pricing, distribution, competition, shelf placement, merchandising, promotions for effectiveness · Develop templates to manage and monitor sales and profitability improvements · Development and Management of "Best Practices" · Development and implementation of category business plans · Assist in development and management of division level account plans · Management of confidential sales and profitability information · Up to 30% Travel involved |

| Requirements: | ||
· Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline · Successful sales information and/or category management experience · Experience in financial analysis, syndicated data analysis, and general business analysis · Proficient with IRI or Nielsen · Excellent at Excel and PowerPoint · Strong interpersonal skills · Strong analytical skills · Creative, out-of-the-box thinker a plus |
