Summary:

The Senior Director of Finance, Mexico plans and directs the areas of Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Credit to be in line with the Regional/Corporate guidelines as well as Mexican regulations. The goal is to guarantee that the company's financial resources are best utilized and safeguarded and that the financial and accounting information is accurate and can support strategic decision making.

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for the accurate financial reporting
2. Responsible for the Credit and Collections decisions to be in line with local and headquarters guidelines.
3. Responsible for Budget submissions to ensure their accuracy in annual planning as well as during monthly forecasts.
4. To assess the proper timing of payment to suppliers, in coordination with funds, discounts and investments, and maximize the financial resources.
5. Manage the cost of insurance
6. Responsible for the cash flow of the organization
7. Responsible for the analysis of projects as proposed by the Commercial area to assess their financial viability.
8. Supports strategies that focus on the company's growth, to assess its income yield capacity.
9. Authorizes and signs checks for suppliers and others as required.
10. Accountable for annual tax returns
11. Supports internal and external audits.
12. Provides guidance, support and leadership to his direct reports.

The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in Accounting/Business Administration. Knowledge of US GAAP. Previous work experience of 10+ years required in similar positions.
