Reports to: SVP/GM, US Hispanic Networks
Responsible for developing and executing the Marketing and
Communications plan for the US Hispanic Networks. Key focus will be
the
development of clear branding and positioning strategies, generating
consumer awareness, and sales marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and effective marketing and communication
campaigns
that will generate consumer awareness and audiences for the channels,
in
support of the programming goals and overall commercial objectives.
- Establish overall branding principles and creative guidelines
working closely with programming, and corporate marketing and creative
group.
- Act as point person for all marketing initiatives, partnering with
the affiliate and ad sales marketing teams, which reside in the sales
groups. In addition, represent the US Hispanic team in corporate
marketing and initiatives.
- Act as point person for all communication initiatives.
Specifically, will be responsible for the consumer targeted
communications efforts for the US Hispanic market, including program
publicity. He/she will need to partner and coordinate efforts with the
communications department in the US Networks group, who handle the
trade-
targeted efforts in the US market, as well as the communication
departments in Corp and Latin America.
- Support the sales marketing departments with creative ideas,
resources, branding guidelines, and information needed to create
presentations, videos, and impactful marketing initiatives to help
accomplish revenue goals.
- Ensure continuous flow of communication between local and corporate
offices of key marketing/brand initiatives.
- Responsible for following the competition and industry trends in
order to make appropriate marketing and branding decisions, but also to
educate members of the US Hispanic group.
- Responsible for creating and managing the departmental budget.

Requirements: |
| |
- Over 8-10 years experience in marketing and communications,
preferably in the Hispanic media industry in the US.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/communications or related field.
MBA
degree a plus.
- Self-motivated and proactive professional with strong leadership
skills.
- Experience in supervising and developing staff.
- Written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish are a
must.
