• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems desired or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years experience in information technology with a minimum of 5 years involving direct supervision of associates and MIS environments.
• Must possess a valid passport and be legally allowed to leave and return to originating country.
• Must be able to travel for at least 2 consecutive weeks at a time at least twice per year. Also must be able to travel at least 2 weeks per month.
• Must be able to speak Spanish fluently. The ability to speak Portuguese is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Mexican or Brazilian cultures a plus. Any living experience in Latin or South America also a plus.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to do this job:

• -Working understanding of PBX administration and similar technologies
• -Working understanding of the current voice, data, and Internet technologies and service providers in the area
• -Conceptual understanding of design, implementation and administration of current communication technologies including IP and SNA
• -Proven experience in the setup and maintenance of small data centers
• -Working ïunderstanding of the current technologies and techniques with LAN design, implementation, and administration
• -Working ïunderstanding of the current technologies and techniques with desktop support and desktop operating systems
• -Working understanding of the current technologies and techniques with servers, server support, and server operating systems, particularly the Microsoft line of O/S's
• -Conceptual understanding of e-commerce technologies
• -Working understanding of financial accounting including budget processes
• -Working understanding of general business operations including sales, finance, operations, and purchasing
• -Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio and Project desired
