    Reporting to: Director, Reporting and Compliance
    Responsible for coordinating and supporting month end close, monthly reporting, Hyperion Enterprise reporting and maintenance, and analysis of country financial submissions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, schedule and support monthly close and reporting process.
  • Hyperion consolidation and reporting for the ten entities comprising the Latin America Region; maintenance of files.
  • Perform intercompany and intracompany confirmations and reconciliations.
  • Create, maintain and generate monthly Board Reports.
  • Identify and understand any AGAAP/IFRS issues and recommend changes as needed.
  • Monthly reconciliation of statutory vs. reporting books.
  • Review monthly variance reports and request corrections from countries when needed.
  • Review balance sheet account analyses submitted by countries and recommend corrective actions if needed.
  • Other analyses and reports as required by management.

  • Knowledge of FASB 52, USGAAP. Able to understand/apply AGAAP, IFRS and IAS.

    Other Considerations
  • Some travel is expected but should not exceed 30% of the time.
  • Dependent on LA directives, training country staff in Hyperion.
    •   Requirements:
     
    • Bachelor degree in Accounting REQUIRED.
    • MBA is REQUIRED and CPA a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
    • Fully Bilingual in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.
    • Five years reporting experience.
    • Solid experience with Hyperion (minimum 2 years at senior user or administrator level).
    • Minimum two years experience working in Latin America regional .office including on-site work in the field (countries).
    • Two years experience with CAPEX process (review and control).
    • Understanding of planning and forecasting in Latin America region.
    • Two years experience with planning and forecasting.
    • Experience with SAP and SOX also a plus.
