The client is a rapidly growing, global, diversified, market-driven
consumer products company.
The opportunity leading and managing the Strategic Marketing Agenda
throughout Latin America will be ideal for someone looking to get in on
the ground floor of pioneering a prominent brand into a new market.

The core competencies are as follows:
- 7+ years of hands-on brand/product marketing experience with
Consumer Goods
- Experience marketing in Major Latin American markets (i.e.
Colombia,
Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico).
- Experience and proven relationships with Latin American Mass
Merchants (i.e. Wal-Mart, Casino, Carrefour, etc.).
The successful candidate will be conscience of the cultural
idiosyncrasies on a per country basis and be able to exert influence in
a diverse team environment.
Primary Tasks:
Lead the development of annual strategic product plans
Execute Marketing Plans through the extended regional brand teams
Aid in preparation of country specific Marketing plans,
consolidating a Regional Marketing Plan for LA
Create and establish clear marketing guidelines for the LA business
units
Execute an effective integration of the entire product related
marketing mix
Responsible for overlooking and agreeing on local Marketing
Budgets,
as well as for Division held funds related to brand.
Spend effective time in-market, assuring the brand satisfies
consumer/customer demanded needs.
Implement smooth Forecasting, Supply Chain and other related
logistical and commercial tasks to assure product found in right place
at right time.
Organization:
- This is a new position reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing LA
- Primary interaction is with local Marketing Managers
- Regular interaction with product sources, and all stakeholders in
value chain
- Position requires working closely with US & Europe Brand/Category
Managers to maximize product resources.

Requirements: |
| |
- 7 + years sales and product management/marketing experience in
multinational mass-market companies (required).
- Hands-on marketing experience in at least three Latin American
countries (required).
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Latin America region as a whole.
- Knowledge of marketing data resources available in territory.
- Experience with planning and implementing marketing strategies.
- Preferably with experience in Consumer related products.
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language fluency
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing required. Masters degree/MBA
preferred.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card (required)
