Responsible for strategic direction and development of National
Accounts, including identification of new opportunities from key
referral sources, oversight of all selling responsibility for these
accounts, as well as forecasting monthly & yearly sales goals for these
accounts.
- Develops and achieves business and strategic plans to achieve
market share objectives.
- Works with the Field Sales group to develop referral sources and
referral relationships.
- Explores and establishes appropriate avenues for specific pipelines
of referral and revenue (managed care, long-term care, disease
management, etc).
- Understands and communicates customer expectations within the
business, measures results against best practices within industry and
develops strategies to fill gaps and grow market share.
- Owns customer relationship across all products within the managed
care account customer group.
- Responsible for strategic customer planning and execution to grow
market share.
- Responsible for identifying growth opportunities within market as
well as growing key accounts within customer group.
- Creates and delivers growth objectives with assigned product lines.
- Creates and maintains growth-focused relationships with customers.
- Takes leadership role to represent and be primary advocate for
strategic accounts to accelerate growth.
- Creates a model that supports the organization's mission and values
based on an internal and external needs assessment.
- Monitors the internal/external environment and identifies
opportunities to fulfill the corporate strategy.
- Serves as strategic liaison for key organizational initiatives
between business units and their customers, both internal and external.
- Assesses current models of business operations and develops
appropriate new models as needed.
- Develops policies in alignment with corporate goals.
- Performs related duties as required. This position description in

Requirements: |
| |
- Ten to fifteen years of progressively responsible sales
experience, with a significant emphasis on establishing and building
National Account relationships, particularly in Managed Care.
- Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to manage a staff in a positive and productive manner by
motivating, developing and managing employees as they work
- Ability to utilize and administer the disciplinary action process
through coaching and counseling to improve performance or terminate
employment
- Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with
department heads, managers, coworkers and vendors to resolve problems
and negotiate resolutions
- Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to
navigate within an automated systems as well as a variety of software
packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or the
international equivalent preferred.
