This position directs the accounting and internal financial
reporting functions for the South Florida and SW Florida regions of a
multi-regional leader in the service industry. The operations consist
of multiple lines of business including residential, commercial and
industrial.
- Provides assurances as to the quality, accuracy, and timeliness
of all financial results and management reports distributed to
District,
Region, and Corporate offices.
- Maintains reconciled and fully analyzed financial statements in
accordance with GAAP.
- Provides insight and analytical review to management of the
financial results.
- Directs implementation and monitoring of SOX 404 control processes.
- Provides oversight for regulatory audits.
- Directs and coordinates the activities related to internal and
external audits of region operations.
- Provides accounting and financial information for use in
preparation
of budgets, forecasts and new business opportunity pro formas.
- Leads the accounting due diligence process for acquisitions.
- Provides support for the Region Controller and Region Operations
Management on special projects.

Requirements: |
| |
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
MBA
and/or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a controller or
accounting management role in a public company required.
- Transportation, or service industry experience preferred.
