The Product Manager reports to the Marketing and Branding Director
for the Latin America region and plays an important role within the
Marketing team. This person will be responsible for the full lifecycle
of products in a distinct category from early planning to the phase out
of the products, as well as being aware of the possibilities to develop
and create new applications and contents as requested by the
operators.
- Manage full lifecycle of assigned products in Latin America.
Coordinate all aspects of the product launch: define launch priorities,
prepare launch plan, and monitor forecast as well as the mid life, and
end of life opportunities.
- Define overall category strategy and how to drive sales and profit
for its assigned products. Manage and monitors progress of sales,
marketing and development activities of its assigned products.
- Work closely with the market units and sales team to define
opportunity dimensioning to explore and develop incremental new product
or promotion opportunities in key accounts/trade channels.
- Own the product development marketing process by working closely
and
serving as main contact with assigned engineers to Latin American
projects. Ensure all product-process documentation is submitted to
commence and carry out projects from inception to manufacturing line
with the assistance of the Assistant Product Manager.
- Support detailed analysis of the category and provide key industry,
market, competitor, customer, retail and consumer insights by utilizing
internal, syndicated and customer research data.
- Work closely with the market units and sales team to define
appropriate implementation initiatives to maximize revenues and achieve
targeted goals of its developed product.
- Work with supply chain team to ensure appropriate product
introduction timings and capacity level by analyzing consolidated sales
forecasts.
- Support the development and implementation of sales and marketing
materials of assigned products such as customer sales presentations,
key
selling points, input for agency briefing, product data sheets and
other
marketing collateral working closely with Marcom manager as appropriate.
- Identify product requirements based on feedback from customers,
other departments and the market to meet customer (operators & end-
users) needs.
- Work with local country marketing teams to share knowledge, best
practices, success stories from other markets/regions.
- Review and understand monthly financial reports, sales and margin.
- Responsible for product development and packaging budget.
- Responsible for category regional P&L.

Requirements: |
| |
- Bachelor's degree Business Administration or Marketing. MBA is
a plus.
- 5 - 7 years of fast moving consumer durable industry.
- Experience working within the Latin American region with a thorough
understanding for cultural differences.
- Analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills.
- Anticipating problems and developing alternative solutions.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese a plus.
