REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director - US Region
The Human Resources Manager II provides day-to-day human resource
support for the US Region, and helps drive business change through the
activities of organizational development, staffing, rewards, diversity,
employee relations, compensation and performance management.
- Partner with business unit management to align HR objectives
and
initiatives to the business strategy.
- Directs and recommends appropriate local implementation of company-
wide HR programs/policies.
- Lead and facilitate change initiatives through the use of HR
consultation skills.
- Ability to influence and persuade appropriately to drive change.
- Promote teamwork through involvement and communication.
- Coordinate annual performance review process, as well as individual
development planning process.
- Assist in preparing the organizational review process and creates
succession planning tools.
- Advise and counsel managers on various matters to optimize employee
engagement, team development and organizational effectiveness.
- Train managers on skills to help develop their staff.
- Partner with HR colleagues to effectively deliver HR services.
- Maintains/collects market data to ensure the timeliness of salary
and incentive levels.
- Provides guidance to US Region management team to ensure that
compensation programs reward performance.
- Coordinate the selection, retention, and termination of US Region
staff.
- Work with finance to maintain headcount files, and ensure that
staffing levels are in accordance with the annual plan.
- Recommend strategies in negotiating competitive hires.
- Work with management on workforce planning.
- Manage employee relations issues.
- Integration of corporate HR programs/policies into US Region.
- Other duties as assigned by Human Resources Director.

Requirements: |
| |
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or
related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5 - 7 years human resources experience in a wide variety of HR
disciplines.
- 3 - 5 years experience as a generalist with a sales/marketing
organization.
- Experience in a wide variety of HR disciplines.
- Experience working in a high performance, process driven matrix
organization.
- Proficient with Peoplesoft.
