Monthly Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Monthly review and variance analysis of operating unit /
country financial statements and of consolidated financial statements.
- Standardize and simplify processes, reporting, systems,
legal entities.
- Preparation of quarterly shareholder report and
presentations.
Budgeting and Long Term Financial Planning:
- Assist in preparing multi-country operating and
consolidated
yearly budgets, longer term financial plans and forecasts.
Business Development & Strategic Investments
- Assist in the valuation and analysis of various acquisition
candidates.
- Lead business development and expansion project assessments.
- Significant participation in Due Diligence and post
acquisition integration.
- Assess and recommend fixed asset and operating investments.
Competitive Analysis:
- Complete on-going competitive analysis and critical
benchmark assessment.
- Determine appropriate comparative metrics.
- Assess local and regional economic and political issues to
identify business opportunities and risks.
Strategic & Operating Analysis:
- Complete operating performance analysis based on strategic
plan and market drivers.
- Create strategic performance metrics and monitor results.
- Identify areas of operational improvements.

Requirements: |
| |
- 7+ years of progressive professional experience within finance.
- Direct experience working with complex organizations in Latin
America with operating entities in multiple countries.
- Direct experience in financial planning, performance analysis and
assessing new business opportunities.
- Understanding of transactional systems operations or technology
industry,
a plus.
- Certification: MBA or CPA, a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish required (Portuguese a plus).
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Good business sense.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to deal with
diverse teams, cultures and seniority levels.
- Energetic /results oriented.
- Flexibility to assume multiple projects simultaneously and to
travel
frequently to various markets.
- Understanding of US GAAP.
