- Responsible for exploring, monitoring and evaluating emerging
e-business technologies, ie, networked marketplace solutions,
e-powerment, collaborative capabilities, importation, etc.
- Evaluation of technical infrastructure requirements.
- Monitoring of competitor and best practice developments and
advancements.
- Oversight of certain of the Company's websites.
- Direct interfacing and management of vendor relationships, including
development of approved vendor certification requirements.
- Development of technology and development of standards.
- Participation in standards bodies (eg., rosetta net, ucc net, etc).
These responsibilities are in addition to senior manager applications
requirements relative to project management, design and supervision.
Supervision will be of outside consultants or corporate projects and in
support/collaboration with Strategic Business Units. |

Requirements: |
| |
- 5-10 years business background in addition to technology background.
- Experience in database and applications development and design plus
familiarity with dba requirements for SQL server and familiarity with
its
NT and web development software.
- Exceptional analytical and people skills are required along with
exceptional business process and systems background.
- Must have the ability to manage relationships both internal and
external, at all levels.
