Responsible for the management and development of a profitable
business for Consumer Products. Management responsibilities include:
sales, marketing, product management and service programs. Develops
effective sales and marketing strategies to increase market penetration,
new market introductions and broaden product line. Plans and implements
effective administrative and operation policies through all channels of
distribution. Works with other divisions to implement successful
operations, service, product planning and manufacturing programs.
- Develop and implement programs to increase sales volume, improve
market share and broaden distribution channels.
- Develop programs to expand product acceptance into new markets,
developing business relationships with new retailers and distributors.
- Directs all sales activities through key managers (National Sales
Manager and Regional Managers): monitoring activities to ensure
objectives are met.
- Develops sales and profit objectives for each sales manager in a
variety of markets on both an international and regional level aimed at
targeting specific customers.
- Directs all marketing activities to establish strategies aimed at
increasing market share and distribution.
- Develop marketing programs to direct manufacturerÂ’s representative
organizations and chain/dealer activities to increase brand awareness.
- Works closely with key distributor accounts creating an atmosphere
of partnership to resolve product issues, return programs inventory
management strategies and backorder situations.
- Responsible for the selecting, training, motivation and development
of all sales personnel in the division.
- Monitors all manufacturersÂ’ representative organization progress and
activities by measuring field sales performance.
- Prepares comprehensive reports for the Group Vice President to track
sales performance and recommend changes needed to increase market share.
- Ensures the effective communication of all sales and marketing
strategies and administrative policies.
- Provides ongoing field sales training and development to enhance
sales performance.
- Works with the national service organization to develop an effective
support and repair program.
- Works with product development and manufacturing organizations to
develop products and accessories that are profitable, competitive and
respond to changing market requirements.
- Works with the business management functions to improve business
operations for the division.
- Develop a strategic plan that meets the long-range corporate
business needs profitably and maintains competitive positioning.

Requirements: |
| |
- Bachelors degree required, MBA desirable.
- 10 years increasingly responsible diversified sales and marketing
general management experience.
- At least 5 years as a senior-level sales or marketing executive in
consumer electronics field.
- Must have senior level contact with major chains, dealers and
corporate accounts.
- Extensive knowledge of dealer network distribution systems,
corporate account sales programs, national sales management, marketing
management, product planning, service planning, customer support
programs, general business management skills and essential
administrative support functions.
